I have 20+ years experience as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

M.A., Holistic Health Counseling. John F. Kennedy University, 1988. (This program was the somatic psychology program at that time. I was trained to work through the body and think holistically).

B.S., Counseling Psychology, Eastern Washington University, 1981.

EMDR: 20 years experience, trained by Francine Shapiro in 1992

Somatic Experiencing Practitioner: Received certification in 2003

AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) training groups 2011-2012.

In addition, I have over 30 years of dedicated spiritual practice and exploration with several traditions. I have been involved with the exploration of nondual wisdom and psychotherapy for 15 years. I am a contributing author to the first book on this topic, The Sacred Mirror, Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy. See Articles page.

I was an organizer and presenter at The Conference on Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy for a number of years since the conference began in 1988. I have also presented at salons on Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy and facilitated groups on “nondual” topics such as being present and relationship in the undivided. (See  www.wisdompsy.com)

I have supervised MFT interns off and on since 1995 in both private practice and non-profit counseling centers.

In addition, my Holistic Health Counseling Masters degree along with decades of studying nutrition and holistic health makes me available to provide nutritional support for clients. Sometimes nutrition can be a significant factor in psychological issues such as depression.

I have worked with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, including depression, anxiety, addictions, childhood and other trauma, relationship issues, and many more.
